Created by Anjali Patel Mehta, Verandah was born while she was on a break from a decade long career in Investment Banking. A travel and bohemian beach lover, active mother of two, and alumnae of Wellesley and the Indian School of Business, she had no formal training in fashion and life spent between Mumbai and New York.

The daughter of an artist, her mission today is to create a joyful and environmentally and socially responsible luxury label inspired by the sights, smells, and contours of her land telling untold stories that inspire her through her hand illustrated signature prints, fine embroideries and sustainable fabrics across Italian made swim, ready to wear and resort lifestyle made ethically with pride in India.
